ASOS.com, Online Shopping Haven

It's a given fact that we feel like shit when we stroll around the mall and suddenly we see a person wearing the same shirt as we are. That's the problem when buying ready-to-wear clothes off the rack, there's a great chance of walking into someone who's wearing the same thing. Which is why, buying clothes online is a no-brainer.

I have always been a fan of buying clothes online for reasons that are least inclined to vanity. I opt to buy clothes directly from the brand's website to ensure authenticity and quality - and also, it's much cheaper. ASOS (http://www.asos.com/) has always been my to-go-to site when in comes to online shopping. It carries a wide array of brands that would cater to each person's liking.

What's great is that they offer FREE DELIVERY WORLDWIDE. Delivery to the Philippines takes up to 11 days, which is not bad at all. It's better than seeing someone with the exact same shirt as what you're wearing.

Be sure to check out what they have on SALE. They have an amazing range of sale items to choose from.
So, here's what I've bought...

MIADORE: LITE 2nd Series - - A LOVE AFFAIR WITH NEON

Succeeding Yekky Balingit's collection for Miadore S/S 2012 Collection, CULT OF HALCYON, which was pretty much high fashion in every angle, Yekky had fun in his new collection.

The Miadore LITE features pieces that are eye-poppingly colorful, quirky, and fun. Each piece exudes energy and can definitely liven up a seemingly dull or plain outfit.

The pieces, being so colorful and vibrant, I can easily picture breakthrough pop vixen, Nicki Minaj wearing them in her videos of live performances.

The collection features pieces that are inspired by avatars and creatures that are insanely too cool to be cute.

Apart from the creature-inspired pieces, the collection also has statement neck pieces, which bears words that will make anyone say, "Man, this one's so cool.."

The collection proved not to be a far departure from Yekky's signature high-fashion pieces which Mr. Rajo Laurel came to love. The collection also has a line of neck and arm cuffs that are both fun and high-fashion.

Maison Martin Margiela for H&M

Before we get too excited about MMM x H&M's collaboration, let me just take you back in time. Back to where it all began. Since 2004, H&M has become the choice of top designers to work with to deliver pieces that are made more affordable to those fashion-savvy people on budget.

In November 2004, fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld teamed up with H&M and spawned pieces that were sold sold-out in fashion-savvy countries in less than an hour.

In November 2005, the company released a collection by Stella McCartney, which was then succeeded by avant-garde Dutch designers Viktor & Rolf in 2006.

In 2007, H&M hit two birds with one stone. The company launched collections by Roberto Cavalli and Australian Superstar, Kylie Minogue.

2008 marked the company's collaboration with the Japanese company, Comme des Garçons.

In the Spring and Summer of 2009, the company launched two collections by British designer, Matthew Williamson - the first being a collection entirely dedicated to women. The second collection marked the designer's foray into designing menswear.

On Novemebr 14, 2009, the company released a limited-edition collection from the iconic luxury lifestyle brand, Jimmy Choo, which featured shoes and handbags, including a range of men's shoes. the collection also marked Jimmy Choo's first attempt in designing clothes, many of which were made from suede and leather. On the same year, the company also collaborated with French fashion designer, Sonia Rykiel, and released a line of knitwear and lingerie.

For Fall 2010, H&M released a collection from one of the first Fashion House in Paris, Lanvin.

For H&M's S/S 2011 collection, the company worked with fashion blogger, Elin Kling. It was a first for the company to release a line featuring creations of a fashion blogger.

On November of the same year, the company released a collection which was a collaborative effort with Versace.

Just recently, H&M released a collection with an Italian fashion label founded by Consuelo Castiglionia, Marni.

And now, not to be outdone, come November 15 of this year, the French fashion house Maison Martin Margiela is sharing their unconventional fashion framework with H&M.

Maison Martin Margiela was founded by Belgain-born Martin Margiela, who has worked with Jean Paul Gaultier and became the creative director of the Hermès women's line. Though his collections are received with such jubilant delight, the elusive designer has never appeared on the runway. Now retired, Margiela's Maison Martin Margiela is now a home to in-house design team which continues the Margiela's legacy of pusing the envelope in art and fashion.
