Missoni x Havaianas

The world-renowned Italian fashion house known for it's use of eccentric textile patterns, Missoni, teamed up with Brazil's famous flip flops maker, Havaianas, to create pieces that are eye-catching, fresh, and fun.

In Missoni's handbook, SUBTLETY IS BORING. These collaborative flip flops are even bolder than anything Havaianas has ever come out in the market with. Made from recycled materials, these flip flops are printed with Missoni signature prints that are sure to turn heads wherever you go. EXPECT THESE BABIES TO DROP SOON. :) xoxo

NOT YOUR TYPICAL FASHION BLOGGER

Well, I'm really not one! haha.. As you must know, I am a lover of shoes and, to me, your choice of footwear can either make or break your entire look.

I am just a "T-Shirt-Pants-Shoes" kind of guy and love the comfort it provides. I don't want to be one who has to endure so much just so he'd look fashionable in the eyes of people.

Even if I veer away from the fashion blogger stereotype, I blog about fashion because I believe that I have an eye for aesthetics and art.

As for my everyday looks, chances are you'll see me looking like the pictures shown. :)

My choice when it comes to jeans will forever be Levi's. It's durability is unquestionable and it just doesn't go out of fashion.

When shopping for clothes, I always go for comfort and longevity in terms of designs. I'm not the type who will spend so much money on clothes, that is why I make sure that whenever I buy one, I will be able to wear it numerous times - - ANY SEASON.

My love for fashion is really deeply rooted towards SHOES. When shopping for shoes, like I do with clothes, I make sure that the pair i'll buy will never be out of style. It should be CLASSIC. My favorite brand is undeniably, LACOSTE.

KERMIT TESORO's Homme Fall 2012: Wicca X Knights of Columbus

After rising to fame by designing killer heels to dressing up Lady Gaga, The AMAZING Kermit Tesoro does it again. Now, with his new collection which he says he "sub-consciously" made for the flexitarians.

As I understand it, FLEXITARIANS, are those who fearlessly dresses up wearing clothes usually worn by a gender not their own - - AND LOOKS GOOD AT IT! Think of KARL LEUTERIO of http://www.inkarlcerating.com/, and you'll get the picture.

Not to compare, but with the use of lengthy cloth and unique designs, Kermit's latest collection reminds me of Karl's own, PARADIGM SHIFT (http://paradigmshiftclothing.com/). What sets them apart is the approach both artists put on their masterclass pieces.

Though some may not find pieces inspired by androgyny as appealing as others, Kermit's creations, to me, are like pictures painted in canvas brought to life. Every angle exudes beauty and artistry.

So, the next time you see people wearing androgynous pieces, Rather than saying "Damn, he's weird!", be like "That's SOOOOO KERMIT!"

AT "LACOSTE" FOR WORDS

I'd be laughing like a chimpanzee if someone wouldn't get what the title of this blog really means! haha.. but anyway, I am AT LOST FOR WORDS whenever we go to malls and I see displays of shoes everywhere. I am such a freak when in comes to shoes. If i really want something, I'd go an extra mile, like not eating just to save money and buy that freakin' shoe OR I just simply phone my grandma to send me money. haha..

When buying shoes, I always go for the designs that would fade out in oblivion in just a matter of season. I go for the classics, well, most of the time. But that doesn't mean I don't buy shoes that are "IN" whatever season were at. CLASSIC LOOK, COMFORT, and DURABILITY is what I really consider and LACOSTE brings those to the table.

I was browsing through there website and found these great pairs that I might just buy. y'know, the internet does good to those shoppers who doesn't find it appealing to see people wearing the same shoes or the same outfit the you put on.

So, here are some of what LACOSTE has for us this season...

LACOSTE MEN'S BRADFORD

What I love about this pair is how it managed to break away from the stereo-type design of deck shoes with it's removable kilty detail.

LACOSTE MEN'S THURMAN Mb

For a sleek look, I always go for something like this pair. With it's waxed leather and contrasting color combinations, this pair promises to turn heads anywhere you go.

LACOSTE MEN'S BROADWICK Hi R

On days that I have to walk for hours, like if we're abroad, I opt for a pair that is made from ballastic nylon. It provides comfort as it's material is soft and it lets air in, thus, making your feet not feeling all suffocated and dying.

LACOSTE MEN'S BRADFORD Mid

There's something about suede that makes users exude a sense of class and sophistication. And what really turns me on with this pair is, AGAIN, it's removable kilty detail.

LACOSTE MEN'S CRICHTON CB

For a modern and fun take on a casual shoes, you'll love this pair. One can never go wrong with a simple black pair of shoes. But whenever I buy one, if the one I fancy is in all black, I see to it that it has something that would catch attention. I always look at it's sole, if it's colored, just like this one, it's a good buy.

I'd wear all these pairs in a heartbeat. I mean, what's there not to love and rave about all these? :)

Gino's Burger: THE NOT-SO-GOOD on a GREAT BURGER

I know, we all used to love Gino's Burgers, but what you don't know about them might make you have second thoughts.

According to Sid, the man behind Gino's infamous burger sauce, he is now OUT from Gino's due to some unfortunate events.

Sid said, and i quote, "as of yesterday iam not at ginos no more they partner did some bad and there maken there own there now but in june iam going to open up the very first US diner here with new burgers an new sause at the top of Gmall called hollywood burgers its going to be nice we will have opend up in June." he further stated" sid is my name and its my family sause and somthing i started i got a partner who help invest once things started geting really good and money started to come in things started to change he first made all the emplyoes on me then he had hes girlfriend work there she made things worse i tryed talking to him about all the things an porblems to let him know i dont do things this way..and just this week he paid off one my cook to take my sause and they started to make there own i ask for my share of money and he did not give it to me so i walked out now there still maken burgers.......so thats what happend a very bad partner and thef so iam starten new at the top of Gmall.."

What happened to Sid is just sad, but predictable. It always happens when you're in a business relationship with people you barely know. But everything happens for a reason and every misfortune entails fortune.

Sid may have lost Gino's but in exchange is a bigger and better business venture, HOLLYWOOD BURGERS. I am looking forward to it, because I have been wanting to have a diner here in Davao that is reminiscent of the diners or joints we see in American movies.

Sid, I wish you the best in you new endeavor.
